In a regular AC the compressor is either on or off. When the compressor is on, it works at its full capacity and when it is off it does not work at all. When the peak temperature of compressor is reached, the compressor stops working and only the fan keeps working. Whereas, inverter ACs are a little bit different from normal ACs. They come with the latest inverter technology which can save 30% to 60% electricity. Inverter technology acts as an accelerator of a car. When the compressor needs more power, it gives more power to the compressor and gives less power when the compressor needs less power. So with this the compressor is always on but consumes the less or more electricity depending on the temperature.
